{"id":32978,"date":"2022-01-26T10:09:25","date_gmt":"2022-01-26T10:09:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/olympianshemp.gr\/eshop\/are-you-aware-of-the-endocannabinoid-system-of-human-body\/"},"modified":"2022-01-26T10:09:25","modified_gmt":"2022-01-26T10:09:25","slug":"are-you-aware-of-the-endocannabinoid-system-of-human-body","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/olympianshemp.gr\/en\/are-you-aware-of-the-endocannabinoid-system-of-human-body\/","title":{"rendered":"Are you aware of the endocannabinoid system of human body?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <strong><em>\u03b5\u03bd\u03b4\u03bf\u03ba\u03b1\u03bd\u03bd\u03b1\u03b2\u03b9\u03bd\u03bf\u03b5\u03b9\u03b4\u03ad\u03c2 \u03c3\u03cd\u03c3\u03c4\u03b7\u03bc\u03b1 (<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>ECS) <\/em><\/strong>is an internal, neuro-regulatory system of human body that is directly related to cannabis since it produces cannabinoid compounds such as those contained in high content and variety in cannabis plant.<\/p>\n<p>The existence of endocannabinoid system was discovered, within the scientific community, in the 1960s but only in 1988 scientists systematically examined and clarified its structure and operation.<\/p>\n<p>The contribution of endocannabinoid system to homeostasis process \u2013 that is maintaining a stable internal environment within the body despite external fluctuations \u2013 is of extreme importance since it affects significantly man\u2019s health and well-being.<\/p>\n<p>The endocannabinoid system works by producing its own cannabinoid compounds, known as endocannabinoids, which \u201cwork\u201d by being attached to specific receptors of the system.
